It is that time of year again. Calving has started and so have my 3 AM checks! They are cute when they are little, but later is another story!!

We have Hereford, Charolais cross, and black calves. My favs are the Herefords as they are so cute. However, when it comes time to sell - I like the Charolais cross better cuz they bring more money (besides, they have all outgrown the cute stage by then)!!
I love calves! My cow should have hers at the end of April.
ReplyDeleteWe have just started so have about 225 or so to calve yet!! It helps to keep us out of trouble!!
